The War Memorial of Korea was opened for visitors in 1994 and is located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. As the name already says it all, it exhibits the articles preserved from the calamitous Korean war (1950-1953). You will find the replica of so many articles used in the Korean war; hence it is named the War Memorial of Korea. At present, there are more than 33,000 artifacts, including the replica of a turtle ship, Stinson L-5G Sentinel observation aircraft, and Yakovlev Yak-18 trainer aircraft. Visitors can use public transport or can rent a cab to reach the War Memorial of Korea.
