Thai Air Asia X airline to launch two Thailand-Australia routes

Synopsis: On Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, there will be four weekly flights between Bangkok and Sydney. There will be three flights per week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, from Bangkok to Melbourne.

In December, low-cost carrier one budget-friendly Thailand flights Thai AirAsia X is known for its affordable flight prices and will begin two direct flights between Thailand and Australia. Beginning on December 1 and 2, this year, the airline will offer flights from Bangkok to Melbourne and Sydney, respectively.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, there will be four weekly flights between Bangkok and Sydney. There will be three flights per week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, from Bangkok to Melbourne.

One-way economy prices from Melbourne to Bangkok start at $299 AUD, and tickets are now available (7,552 Thai baht). $1,199 AUD is the price of a one-way Business Class ticket on a first-class flatbed (30,293 Thai baht). There are many best famous places to travel in Thailand. 

On the possibility of the new routes, Thai AirAsia X’s interim CEO made some observations.

“Thailand and Australia have maintained strong relations for over 70 years, and Australia is among the top three educational destinations for Thai students as well as a leading travel destination for Thai tourists.”

AirAsia X, a Malaysian airline, will begin offering flights from Kuala Lumpur to a number of places in Australia. The airline will begin operating flights between Kaula Lumpur and Sydney on September 9 and flights between Sydney and Perth, Melbourne, and Auckland in November.
