Jabal Al Nour is called the “Mountain of Light” or “Hill of Illumination.” Jabal Al Nour is primarily famous for its Hira cave. 4. Jabal Thawr

Surrounding the valley where Makkah lies, Jabal Thawr is one of the mountains. It was within a cave here that for three days from the Quraish tribe, the Prophet and his companion Abu Bakr (RA) hid. Allah had a spider spin a web at the cave’s entrance to protect the two men, from seeing within and finding them preventing their enemies. To symbolize faith and hope, Thawr Cave has since come. About 12km south of Mecca, Mount Thawr lies. The site sees fewer pilgrims than Hira Cave in Jabal Al Nour because of its greater distance from the holy city, where Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) received his first revelation.
