History:
St. Jost Church is one of the oldest buildings in Plzeň and is believed to have been originally constructed in the 13th century. Over the following centuries, the church was modified and rebuilt on several occasions, with the present Gothic structure being completed in the 14th century. In the 15th century, a bell tower was added to the church, along with a clock and a fence. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Czechia.

St. Jost Church is noted for its Gothic features, including pointed arches, pointed columns, and ribbed vaults. There is also a crypt beneath the church which contains the remains of several prominent local figures.
