Even though the Covid scare has lowered, the authorities are still taking measures to avoid any kind of hostility among tourists. They have imposed some restrictions and fines to keep the crowd in control.

The authorities in Goa are planning on making new laws and penal provisions in the most vulnerable areas where crowds throng maximum and make a mess out of beaches like drinking and leaving bottles all over the place or littering anywhere.

Tourism Minister said that they are giving emphasis on green and sustainable tourism. He further added that there were no clear laws for the trash and empty bottles left by the public on the beaches and other public places.
