6. Brunei Museum

Located at Kota Batu near the capital city of Bandar Seri Begawan, the Brunei Museum is the national museum of Brunei. 7. Jame’ Asr Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque

In Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei, Jame’ Asr Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque is a mosque and one of the two national mosques, the other being Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanal Bolkiah is the 29th, the current Sultan of Brunei and also a waqf of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. On a 20-acre site in Kiarong, the construction began in 1988. With the Sultan attending the Maghrib and Isha prayers, the mosque was inaugurated on 14 July 1994 in conjunction with His Majesty’s 48th birthday celebration. At a time, the mosque cum old monument in Brunei can accommodate 5,000 worshippers, making it the largest mosque in Brunei.

8. Kota Batu

In the Brunei-Muara District of Brunei, Kota Batu is a mukim (subdistrict). Bordering the mukims of Mentiri to the north and Lumapas to the south and west, it is located on the southeastern part of the Brunei-Muara District, the Brunei Bay to the east and Pulau Limpaku Pinang in Limbang in Sarawak, Malaysia, to the east, as well as  Kianggeh and the Kampong Ayer mukims to the west. By the Brunei River that flows from the Brunei Bay towards Mukim Kianggeh, Kota Batu is separated across Pulau Berambang, Mukim Lumapas, and the water village mukims. Incidentally, Pulau Berambang is a part of Mukim Kota Batu and now it is one of the monuments to visit in Brunei.

It is the royalty and mainly houses the regalia of the Sultan, it also exhibits related to the commemorations of the Golden and Silver Jubilee celebrations of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah’s rule of Brunei. On 30 September 1992 by the Sultan himself, this beautiful monument in Brunei was officially opened.
