History:
St. Nicholas Church was built in the 1350s as a chapel and was converted to a church in the first half of the 16th century. In 1784 it was expanded to its current shape, complete with a belfry and a deep chamber beneath the altar. The church has been repaired, renovated, and restructured many times over the centuries. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Czechia.

The bell tower stands about 66 feet tall and the interior consists of three aisles. A unique feature of St. Nicholas Church is its early Gothic style, with pointed arches and a high, ribbed vault in the nave and choir. The walls are decorated with limestone and sandstone carvings. The neo-gothic facade was added during the 19th century.
