The Church of Saint James, Beroun was first built in 1611 as a place of pilgrimage for St. James. Throughout the years, several renovations and modifications have taken place. The most recent renovation occurred in 2009 and included a reconstruction of the damaged tower. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Czechia.
