The Pacific Light House Church In Nauru was founded in 1884 when two German missionaries, Walter and Eliza Koster, moved to the island to preach the gospel. In the coming years, many more missionaries from the South Seas Evangelical Church arrived to the island, establishing a stalwart community of believers. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Nauru.
