Church of Saint Meinard, Liepāja In Latvia is a Roman Catholic Church located in Liepāja, Latvia. The church was built in the early 20th century and is named in honor of Saint Meinard, the patron saint of Liepāja. The church is a Baroque-style building that has two towers and a Baroque façade. The interior of the church is made of lime-washed walls and contains many traditional elements such as carved wooden beams, stained glass windows, and a wonderful combination of ceiling and wall paintings. History:

The Church of Saint Meinard was built in the early 20th century, and was initially designed by architect Joseph Livonius. The design of the church was revised and finalized in 1937 by artist and sculptor Arthur Laimens. After renovations, the Church was recognized for its historical value and has been designated as a protected cultural monument. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Latvia.
