Mosquée El-hadj Ibrahima de Gbessia In Guinea-Bissau is a religious complex in the capital city of Bissau. It includes a mosque, madrasah and religious library complex. The mosque was built in 1954 by Hadj Ibrahim De Gbessia who was a prominent figure in the local Sufi brotherhood of Mouride, and a revolutionary who fought for Guinea-Bissau's independence from Portugal. In addition to the mosque, Hadj Ibrahim De Gbessia donated lands and funds to support proper Islamic education in the region. The madrasah, which is run by the Hadj Ibrahim De Gbessia Foundation, provides education in Islamic studies, as well as a library.
