The Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul is the principal church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of N'Djamena, located in the city of N'Djamena in Chad. The cathedral is dedicated to two of the apostles of Jesus, Saints Peter and Paul. It is one of the best churches in Chad which you must visit.

History:

The first Catholic mission was established in N'Djamena in 1861, but it was destroyed during the rebellion of 1898. The mission was rebuilt shortly after the rebellion's end. A new Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul was consecrated by Bishop Charles-Théodore Colet on 16 April 1967. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Chad.
