Shekinah Wesleyan Holiness Church was birthed out of the vision of Bishop Ranford and Pastor Deloyce. They felt that Barbados is in great need of a Church that will help its people to experience true love and peace in life. On May 15th2005, the Church held its first service, and since then the Church has grown exponentially. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Barbados.
