Krščanski center Novo mesto is a faith-based non-governmental organisation founded in 1997 in Slovenia. It strives to carry out humanitarian work through human rights education for young and adult members of the Christian, Muslim and Jewish communities. The centre focuses on the promotion of interreligious and intercultural dialogue, providing a multi cultural platform for members of the three Abrahamic faiths, especially those living in small rural communities, to discuss their religious and cultural differences. The centre also organises seminars, seminars for teachers and educational visits in Christian and Islamic churches, mosques and synagogues. Additionally, they provide courses to help local people learn to accept and respect other faiths and ensuring that everyone lives in harmony. Krščanski center Novo mesto also works to bring together members of all faiths through various annual events and conferences, such as the commemoration of the Holocaust in October.
