Wat Khili in Vientiane is one of the most venerated sites in Laos for spiritual activities. The monastery serves as the primary center of Buddhist rituals and ceremonies in Laos and the ancient traditions are still practiced with reverence at this sacred site. At Wat Khili, worshippers usually arrive in the evening hours to attend prayers which start with the chanting of mantras and then proceed to circumambulations of the altar.
