Overview:
mb of Shagird, Vill Talania, is an ancient archaeological site located in the Cholistan region of Pakistan. Discovered by Alexander Cunningham in 1865, the site consists of two ruined mounds, ruins of a fort, four pillars and a few masonry tombs. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The most prominent feature of the Tomb of Shagird is the four pillars that surround the mounds on the west side. These pillars are carved out of single blocks of stone and are believed to be a form of memorial to honor a local ruler. The other features of the site include a mound, two small tombs and an old fort. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour
