One of Amer city’s best-kept secrets is the 17th century “Sagar” Lake, which was the initial source of water for the neighboring forts of Amer, Jaigarh, and the city and people of Amer. Sliding across the Kheri Gate and Anokhi Museum, the lake can be reached by car, and then you can walk around its boundary line, which is divided into two parts – the upper and lower Sagar.
